Owner, Craig Thompson, purchased the property in 2005 when it was still a vineyard. In 2008, Craig decided it was time to take a new direction so the vines were removed to make way for horse paddocks to enable his passion for horse racing and breeding to be developed and Mount Hallowell Stud was born.
