Master of Design
Master of Design was a $2.1 million yearlings at the Inglis Easter Sales and was the only son of Redoute’s Choice to win at Group 1 level in weight for age company.
A half-brother to South African Group 1 winner Suntagonal, Master of Design is from blue-blooded Last Tycoon (IRE) mare Urge to Merge, a daughter of blue hen Princess Tracy (IRE).
Master of Design was a winner at ages three, four, five and six and retired with a record of seven wins including the Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes 1200m and the Group 2 Theo Marks Handicap 1300m and 5 placings including 3rd in Group 1 Invitation Stakes 1400m and Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes 1100m bringing his total prize money $938,209.
Master of Design is standing at Swettenham Stud, Victoria with his service fee for 2015 being $12,500 including GST.
At the 2015 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne his progeny averaged $106k making his return on investment very appealing to Broodmare owners.
